Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Courier profession.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Astar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Dilettante but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Her silver crest has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gold.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Engraver like his mother before him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is wracked by social anxiety
