History: Qualen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Agatha was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Agatha's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
