History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ida never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
