History: Born to a Scribe, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Ilanis was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is content; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he wants to get laid
