History: Bertram was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Warlock school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
