Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Maegan and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Stableman, but he got bored and became a Bowyer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bowyer responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aura grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aura. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Healer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
