History: Mastema was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sellsword. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He struck the Sellsword job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and further expansion of business
