History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. After a long history of fighting, Malquis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by her family; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
