She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Pyra was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
