She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and seeks redemption

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Euphemia is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with her Glassblower mother left her crippled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and her religion dominates her actions
