History: Kali hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Gardener, and she later adopted a second son.
