History: Born to a Sculptor, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Altho's homeland. Altho decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of a Server, who enjoyed hunting, Lia was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. She has worked as a Shepherd like her father before her.
