Through the years after Oppleby was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oppleby's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Two Llamas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Dentratha was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
