Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She became a Barber soon after.
