History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Slave Trader and was forced into it by his family; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Ethereal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ethereal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Banker. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and balancing her hectic life and new gardener responsibilities is difficult
