Personality: He is mildly Dragonborn supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Shamash was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shamash decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Through the years after Fragrant was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fragrant's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Now she works as a poetry tutor during her time off.
