History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Quick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Quick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
