Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. Her skin is light but she possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. She wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her trident. She has slicked back blonde hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Abalaba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts and is in decent physical shape. He has moderate length silver crest. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Hadarai was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Baker. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A 3'9" eastern woman, she wears a grey tunic with brown highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Gifted from a young age, Torbera studied abroad. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect her home
