The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Pennie and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Pennie discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Pennie fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right.
