History: Gifted from a young age, Melissa studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Melissa took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Shanairla wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Shanairla reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Ovak is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
