History: Astar hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and balancing her hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult
