Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Burto was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart.
