History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Hatae's homeland. Hatae decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She became a Hunter soon after.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Damien grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
