History: Burgell lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
