History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Egelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has never given up on his music dream.
