History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Curran embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Healer and was forced into it by his family.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a brown tunic with tan highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Jocelyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
