Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is typically in her Sailor uniform. Her red hair is knotted and matted. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Tervaround was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tervaround's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a worn and beaten armor. Her hair is brown and curly. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to reunite with her absent father
