Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a yellow costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. With wild chestnut hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Syllin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat, and carries sais. Her moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Knight. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born in the south to a Knight, Matilda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Knight. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he feels threatened by others

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. He wears his chestnut hair up. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Kairon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he is content
