Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mastema took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up nunchaku and armor she uses now. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Damaia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sailor for the past few years.
