History: Rurik was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Conrad was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
