He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Volen will drive conversation. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Miner mother left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
