Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Tod hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Harriet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Interpreter and was forced into it by his family; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
