History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
