History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

History: Shamash lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Tethren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Dilettante again; and wishes to resurrect an old love
