History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paggen. History: Faral lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Roofer. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Theodoric hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He worked as a nervous Tailor and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Tailor like his father before him.
