History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has never given up on her singing dream.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Mantus was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He now owns his own business.
