History: Ûkshak was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bardryn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and balancing his hectic life and new crown-heir responsibilities is difficult
