Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. History: Syllin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born in the north. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Manfred was born the youngest of three triplets. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
