History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Dagger reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Halander was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Halander's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

She found a children's book about a Dwarf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
