History: Whurdred was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mayor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mayor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
