History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Being a Courier kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She is a Hag in disguise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
