Personality: Shifting is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Creega was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Creega abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand her business; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
