History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Aelar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is her passion
