History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Aelar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His childhood dream was to be a Fisher, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
