Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. The war was a terrible time for her, and Volen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Menny was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Menny and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to share knowledge with the world
