His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has achieved small success as a Dyer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
