Through the years after Serpent was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Serpent's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
