History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Barrister father left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Zepar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Herbalist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Yevelda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Healer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is unsatisfied with her job
