History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Tree was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Tree took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to unite with his sister
