Zook decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now owns his own business.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Perra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Perra. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
